The menu is packed with standout highlights that celebrate the rich, smoky flavors Texas BBQ is famous for. You simply can’t miss the Brisket Queso—a creamy, cheesy dip layered with tender chopped brisket, topped with pickled onions and jalapeños that add a lively kick. The Brisket Nachos carry that same irresistible meat-forward appeal combined with a satisfying crunch. For meat purists, the Beef Brisket, Turkey, and Brisket Ribs and Sausage are cooked and smoked to tender perfection, boasting a beautifully balanced smoky flavor and melt-in-your-mouth texture that customers rave about. One devoted diner affectionately describes it as “the best smoked turkey I have ever had,” praising its moist tenderness and flavor finesse.

Beyond meats, Strouderosa also takes pride in their thoughtfully prepared sides and appetizers. The Smoked Wings are smoky, juicy, and perfectly seasoned—a true nod to their BBQ roots. Meanwhile, the Mac & Threeso delivers a comforting blend of creamy cheese and savory notes alongside luscious textures, complimenting the meats flawlessly. Sides like borracho beans, jalapeño cream corn, and deviled egg salad elevate the meal and showcase the kitchen’s dedication to full-flavored, well-rounded plates. The dessert options, such as the house-baked cobbler and rich chocolate brownie, offer a sweet finish that feels like a celebratory reward.

What makes Strouderosa BBQ even more special is the genuine connection the owners, Matt and Tricia, maintain with their community. Their warm hospitality and readiness to share personalized recommendations, whether it’s answering questions or suggesting an anniversary dessert, create a dining experience that lingers fondly in the memory long after the last bite. Regular patrons attest to the generous portions and friendly service that make this spot a true Texas BBQ haven.

(Next to wingstop) Approaching this establishment, my GPS led me in circles around the parking lot until i found it. Upon approaching the front counter to place an order to go, i was welcomed by an employee who gave me a menu and also a take-home menu for my friends. As i went over the menu another employee who could have been the pitmaster asked if he could help, which he did and i ended up getting the "little joe" which is 1/4 lbs of 2 meats plus a side. I also got a homemade jalapeno cheese sausage. . The food has a great smoke flavor, smoke rings on your brisket, moist Turkey breast that dissolves in your mouth easily, the sausage was better than other places i been to with real cheese inside and again the flavor is thru the roof! My side was mac n cheese and OMG it was the perfect amount of creaminess, delicious, warm, and cheesy. My meal also came with mild barb que sauce, crispy crinkle cut pickles, crispy sliced jalapenos and the 3 toast was toasted perfectly. Everything came together nicely with alot of flavor in every single bite. If i had to say that only 1 thing was off is that i didnt recieve any utensils/plastic ware in my bag to eat when i got back to work. I will be returning soon sometime and ill try something new again. Thank you !! 7.24.25 Came in again, had the spud with brisket and fixings and a side of bbq borracho beans. Potato was a good size and it was very filling. I couldnt help but think there was somethin missing.. in my opinion maybe actual shredded cheese would have been what i was looking for even tho the cheese sauce added to it was great! Brisket was on point! As for the beans i wasnt a fan of. Great flavor in the beans but just not for me. It resembled a taste of ranch red beans mixed with pico. Not so much the "borracho" side. Food was still good. Will have to come and try something diffrent again. =)

Gobble Gobble!! - Strouderosa BBQ is outstanding. They smoked a number of Whole Turkeys for a special event we had and they were Fantastic! Best smoked turkey I have ever had, I and I know good BBQ. Great balance of turkey flavor, tenderness and smoked taste. The turkeys were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of moistness throughout – great for easy carving, nice presentation and most all, delicious feasting. Having previously enjoyed Strouderosa’s brisket and other great meats, I anticipated the turkeys would be really good, but they knocked it out of the park!

Strouderosa BBQ is absolutely incredible! The meats are cooked and smoked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and full of that authentic BBQ taste. Every side dish is just as amazing — the borracho beans, mac n’ cheese, deviled egg salad, and jalapeño cream corn are all delicious and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care and passion goes into every bite. Easily one of the best BBQ spots around!

I can't say enough about this restaurant! You are always greeted immediately upon entering and the staff is always so pleasant. I always order the jalapeno cheese sausage sandwich with tumble fries (gotta get the recipe) and the fixings. This was the first time I had a sausage with the cheese literally oozing out, and the flavor of the fixings is something else (need the recipe for this also). You can tell that the staff really love their jobs, which is a direct reflection of the ownership! I actually found them when going to lunch at a restaurant that used to occupy the space and was pleasantly surprised, upon eating my meal! I began telling and recommending it to my coworkers and those that ate there also loved it. I will definitely try some other options on my next visit!

The wings are great, way better than the WingStop next door. I got the house rub, which was sweet and peppery. The smoked turkey was tasty, but a little dry… not unbearably so and little sauce fixed it up. The onions, jalapeño, and pickles were a perfect side. Service was also very good. Definitely coming back.
